Vintage/Old Stock Paper Micarta
Listing price is for 1 set of knife handle scales(2 piece)
Size: Thicknesses available are 3/16", 1/4", 3/8"
1.5 inches wide x 5 inches long
These scales are crosscut off of a 1.5" thick sheet.
There may be some surface machine marks on the flats of the scales from cutting. Due to this, they may be cut slightly oversized.
Color: Dark Coffee Brown
**Please note that due to the fact that this is old stock material that there will likely be some surface scratches and other possible imperfections. The pieces cut closer to the edge of the sheet may have some very minor edge cracks and there is some color variation in throughout the pieces we have cut so far(see listing photos). The pieces from closer to the middle of the sheet appear to be more uniform and solid in color.**
We do not know the manufacturer of this micarta as there was no label on the sheet but it came out of one of the aerospace manufacturing plants in North Texas. Some of the other canvas micarta we found in this batch was labeled International Paper brand from the 90's.
